Steady, bright white light in sky over Waco, TX

Last night (6/10/07) I was sitting outside at a club, just listening to my fiancée's band play and looking at the night sky. I observed a single, bright white light very high in the sky, traveling east to west in a straight line.

At first I thought it could be a plane, but it was only one steady light and traveling faster than a normal aircraft. I could see a few stars in the sky; and it was slightly larger than the stars. I didn't point it out to anyone else, even though there were a few people seated near me. The music was quite loud, and I would have had to shout. I watched it until my view was obstructed by trees.

The sky was very clear, and as I said, I could see some stars even though the club is located in a very well-lit commercial area near Interstate 35. A bit later I saw a plane headed in the same direction, and I could clearly see the familiar lights on it.

I suppose it could've been a satellite, but I'm not sure what they look like in the night sky.

Very large green white light in Denton, TX.

while traveling south on I35w in far southwest Denton, TX, in Denton County, we observed a very greenish white light rapidly changing colors and the shape was egg to oval. The brightness lit half of the sky. This craft was probably about 2 to 4 miles west of I35w. Their were 9 of us in 2 cars and we all saw the same things. The light abruptly ended and disappeared after 4 or 5 minutes.

Multiple Lights In Sky

I arrived at my parents’ house at approximately 1030 PM CST (2230) to gather some things I had left there. A friend of mine who is staying at the house was standing near our shop building, which is approximately 50 yards from the main house, looking into the sky. When I approached him, he asked if I saw anything flying low and silent on my way there. I had not seen anything out of the ordinary.

He described a pair of non-flashing lights, red and blue, on opposing ends of the ‘craft.’ It flew on an east-to-west bearing, and quickly altered direction to the north and dimmed to non-visible. The total duration was 2-4 minutes and was approximately 1 mile away at its closest point to his position. He also commented that animals in the neighborhood were acting peculiar in that the horses next door were in a state of unrest and that dogs all around the area were barking loudly, many at once.

Within 5 minutes of my arrival, two bright lights appeared in polar-opposite positions to each other, one to the northwest, and the other to the southeast. Each one brightened and dimmed at no certain interval and independently of one another. Each one also seemed to ‘flicker’ and several times changed from a reddish hue to a bluish or greenish tone. Additionally, there were three short ‘flashes’ from the northernmost ‘object.’ It may be important to note that two of the 4 observers of this event confirmed that there may have been two distinct lights on the northern object, or possibly two objects. These two ‘objects’ seemed to be on an approximate inclination (relative to our position) of 40°. The distance from my location could not be determined; therefore I cannot be certain about the approximate height of the object from the ground.

The total duration of this event was around 25 minutes. By 11:10 PM (2310 hours), neither object was visible.

Notes: Weather Conditions: Clear, full visibility. 75° F.

Lighting Conditions: Dark, no city street light interference. Location south of Midland, Texas city limits approximately 7 miles.

It might be worth noting that in 3 different locations which I can pinpoint by map, local police and sheriff patrol units were sitting beside the road. Also, after leaving the location of our sighting, my friend told me that two patrol units were driving around the area.

A reddish/orange sphere (1/2 of a full moon), was seen moving steadily across the sky from SW to NE.

The object seen had round/sphere qualities. The color was reddish orange I saw the object first, while in my backyard looking toward the West. I pointed to the object and my husband then spotted it. It moved in a steady path from the SW to the NE.

This whole event lasted only about 15 seconds. We watched until we could no longer see it. We did not see any other like objects. The sky was mostly clear, but dense clouds moved in within the next hour.

I am a semi-retired teacher. My husband served on the USS Little Rock (CLG-4) He separated from active duty in 1972 as a Lieutenant. He has been a practicing attorney for 33 years.

It should not appear to be orange, and it should have been visible for more than 15 seconds, after appearing in the WSW sky. Moreover, the ISS would appear to be about the size and magnitude of Jupiter, not half the (perceived) size of the Moon. Given the credentials of the two witnesses, we suspect that they would not have mistaken the ISS for the object they apparently witnessed. PD

Bright ball of light seen in evening sky in West Texas

My wife and I left her parent’s home in the North Western portion of Kent county (Spur in Dickens county is the closest town to the family ranch). We were traveling North on FM 1081 and noticed a bright object in the North West portion of the sky (which seemed north of Lubbock). We then turned the vehicle West on FM 261 and proceeded West bound until we reached FM 651 to go home to Crosbyton (located in Crosby county). The object appeared to be stationary and did not change in intensity or color. We witnessed the object become obscured by clouds and clouds pass behind it within our time of travel. When we returned home the object was still visible and we were able to determine that it was North-North West of the city of Lubbock. The weather condition was stormy to the south of Kent, Dickens, and Crosby counties. We concluded that this object might have been a weather balloon reflecting light from the setting sun.

Low object below clouds moving from south to north - red circular light

My daughter and I left the local Wal-Mart at night and the conditions were cloudy with some breaks in the clouds. We normally get the usual aviation traffic flying south to the airport in Austin.

As I was opening the door to my car, I looked toward the east and I saw a set up red lights moving in a circular pattern with a red light in the center at the bottom. The clouds were very low and the object was below the cloud deck. I heard no sound from the object and I could see planes above the clouds to the west and the sound of their engines. Anything that low would have been easy to hear. My daughter saw the same thing and described it to me as I had seen it. The object disappeared in a few seconds as it was moving very rapidly.

Denton TX Green ball shaped object moving upward at a fast rate

Sitting out side having a cig. Looked like a storm coming in so I was looking up at the sky. I seen a ball shaped light green object with what seemed to be a black circle (ora) around it moving straight up. It Moved pretty fast not so fast that I couldn't follow it with my eyes and try to make it out but fast enough where I lost it after a few second in the clouds. Lets put it this way In the 21 years that I have been a live I haven't seen anything move nearly that quick and that smooth. Also it was fairly close and it didn't make a sound. Seen on 5/22/07

A disk flying east-west across the sky in southern Texas. (Padre Islands)

I was with my family on vacation down on the Padre Islands in the south of Texas. This long, skinny island is fairly close to the Mexican border. We were staying at the Holiday Inn on the southern part of the island. I decided to go out and take some pictures to see if I could get any cool shots. I fiddled around a bit with some settings and took a few pictures, most of which weren't very good. As I was aiming a picture of the waves, I noticed a light shooting across the sky. It was rather sudden and at first I thought it was a shooting star. I continued to look, expecting the light and tail to disintegrate as a shooting star/meteorite would, however it didn't. I came to the realization at that point that it was something that either entered the atmosphere, or was already in the atmosphere. It had a trail that disappeared as it got closer to over my head. I continued to watch this spectacle as it shot across the sky at a VERY fast pace. As it flew I thought it was a bird, something simply mistaken for something else. My human curiosity kept me watching this object. I felt my heart drop when the object flew across the moon. I will never forget the startling image I saw then. A disk shaped object, clearly a disk, shot across the moon, it's color a light amber, glowing as it were, (possibly from entering the atmosphere.) The image continued it's east-to-west flight across the sky. As it flew away I could only think of the possible explanations for the object. All my compiled theories shattered when the vessel banked hard left about a thumbs length from where I was standing above my hotel. The vessel nearly stopped when it banked left, and it continued it's path west. I didn't hear any audible engine sounds, only the slight roar of the ocean. The event occurred at exactly 9:00 pm and I was only one of a few people on the beach, but when I asked them about it, they said they hadn't seen anything.

Zigzagging lights near municipal airport.

At about 2:30 in the morning I was looking up, and out of my window when a single yellow or possibly orange ( I am colorblind) light about the size of a lamp on a street light appeared overhead. It made no noise whatsoever, and moved more quickly than anything I have ever seen. The light immediately zigzagged about 4 times before disappearing in a south east direction (going towards Seguin, Texas) Its worth noting that I live very close to a municipal airport, although in my 20 or so years of living here, I have never seen a light this close move so quickly and in such an irregular pattern.

Bright white glowing object in the southern sky

At about 9:45pm last night my wife and I were out looking at stars particularly Venus. At about that time I looked up to see Saturn. All of a sudden to the south almost straight up, I saw an object light up as bright as Venus and about the same white color. This was very bright and seemed very high in the sky. I told my wife, what is that? At that moment it reduced the bright white glow to almost nothing. I could however still see it. I didn't see any flashing lights nor did it change colors. It was like a hot amber color that was very dim and slowly traveled south east. I wondered if it was a satellite but I have never in all my years saw a satellite that lit up like that. Also it must be generating some large energy source to be that bright at that altitude. Very strange..

Strange hovering object with strobing light and air force jet on pursuit

I do not have a word processor so i will do my best to have accurate spelling. It was about 10:30 at night and me and my mother were on our way home from a close relatives house. We neared our house when we noticed a strange rectangular object floating in place. It had an extremely bright strobing light and it appeared to be silver against the night sky. The strange thing i noticed was that the object had no sound. We stopped for a moment when i noticed what appeared to be an air force jet below it. The jet was obviously examining the object. As we pulled into the driveway, I ran to the front of the house just in time to see the object shoot up into the clouds with a streak of red and green light as if in a sci-fi movie and the air force jet attempt to follow it. The total time the object was in the sky is 5 minutes.

Black, mushroom shaped object caught on cell phone video at lake.

My daughter and her two cousins went to the lake on Saturday, May 5. She was using her cell phone to video tape them. She turned the phone around to videotape herself and that is when she caught the sighting.

It was not until that night when she was showing her dad and myself the video that we saw the UFO. She paused the video allowing us to see the short stemmed mushroom shaped object. It was all black. It apparently did not make any noise since they had not noticed it in the sky.

Brilliant magnesium diamond seen over Dyess Air Force Base/ Abilene ,Texas

Bright spherical object traveling slowly, moving from northwest to south east across the southern part of Abilene, Texas. The object passed under the moon and revealed a diamond shaped metallic form at approximately 10,00 feet elevation. I watched the object for a few minutes noticing that it did not have the standard light configuration that is typical of modern commercial and military aircraft.(No blinking lights just an intense magnesium type light). It vanished shortly after passing out of the moons halo. Abilene is home to Dyess Air Force Base and I see military and civilian aircraft all of the time but this was something I have never seen before.The fact that it disappeared in an absolutely clear west Texas sky considering it s phenomenal brightness is weird to say the least.The object traveled approx 12 miles during the sighting.

Around 11:00 P.M. CST in Lewisville, Texas. Triangular shaped object with white lights (not sure if the lights were all part of one craft or multiple crafts in formation).

The object(s) moved quickly and silently across the sky. It was only visible for about 20 seconds.

I took my dogs out side to go to do their business. While I was waiting for them, I noticed how clear the sky was. I was looking at the stars, and noticed only one was blinking. It seemed to bink in a reddish greenish color. It was far off, so I went and got my field glasses, It was moving father away from where I was standing. It was the only thing in the sky Blinking. It was not an airplane. Looking through my field glasses I could see it changing colors. Since it was the only thing blinking I thought that was strange. I never thought I would see something like this!

Rectangular glowing objects flying over Austin, TX

It was a clear night, there were no clouds in the sky at all. My friend and I were standing outside our apartment when I looked up and saw 2 glowing rectangular objects spaced evenly apart cruising smoothly across the sky towards the north. I told my friend to look and she also did not know what we were looking at. It was not birds, bats, or planes as there was no sound and they emitted a eerie yellowish glow. They were flying quite low, lower than all of the usual airplanes that fly over our area, and they were moving smoothly at a very high speed, we only watched them for about five or six seconds before they were out of sight. It's possible that they were military as they were flying in the direction of Ft. Hood, but I don't know of any unclassified silent glowing military aircraft that could travel at those speeds.

Plane looking object disintegrates over Texas sky.

There was an object of what looked to be a plane traveling from straight above the horizon about 60 degrees traveling towards a zero degree horizon at a high rate of speed. It looked like a plane and a contrail. The object was visibly moving unevenly as it descended. It broke up and created more white smoke as it disintegrated over the sky. There was small puffs of smoke periodically after the main event as it disappeared to the horizon.

White oval (weather balloon?) over The Ballpark

While watching the Rangers game, a white object was observed over The Ballpark (Texas Rangers)that was likely a weather balloon. It appeared to be relatively high as DFW Airport had a take-off pattern to the east of the stadium and the planes were lower then the object. It drifted toward the northeast (possibly upward), did not appear to have flashing or constant lights, and faded toward the northeast. I took a few pictures, but the object was very blurry (can submit if requested). We were just wondering if anyone else saw the object.

Last night a large round object came out of a forest behind my house, the next day we explored the area to find no leaves.

Instead of a backyard, I have a forest behind my house. Last night, a sonic boom woke all four of us. The boom repeated about 8 times. We ran to the edge of the forest to see what was happening, and from somewhere in the middle, a large round disk, about 300 yards away rose up and sped off in the opposite direction (south). The bottom of it was mesmerizing, like a light show. A large blue light in the center of it moved around in a spiral toward the outer edges; and the object was outlined in a flashing changing color light. The next day, we followed one of our trails to where the object had been. What we found was unbelievable. A 40ft by 40ft area of the forest, in the shape of a circle, had no leaves at all. None were on the ground, and there were no plants. And all around the area lush greens leaves were everywhere. The trees were untouched, no branch was out of place. The end. P.S. As I was typing this, I heard the same sonic booms noises, only much further away.

Bright oval shaped craft/object white with red pulses from behind it 10 to 20 sec, apart. Very close. Looked like it was in orbit..UFO?

I was working in my back yard right at dusk about 7:45 pm when I noticed distinctly noticed 2 objects in the sky. The first was the moon and the 2nd was a BRIGHT white light below it located in the NW sky. The object caught my eye because of the size and location; it was much closer to the earth’s surface than any other stars I have ever seen. It wasn’t the North Star that’s for sure. Also the brightness of this object was amazing. As I looked at this bright white light I notice every 10 to 15 seconds that it would put of a reddish pulse around the stationary white light kind of a glow. This object resembled a star. It was not moving in any direction .It looked like it was in orbit kind of but slowly descending from below the moon. I know this wasn’t a star or airplane or satellite or anything I had ever seen before it was to close and to bright and the red pulse made it even stranger. At this point I was looking at it with my naked eye. I went in the house to grab my video camera the object didn’t appear to be going anywhere. I set my camera up on a tripod what I would see next as I zoomed in on the object was truly amazing and unreal. At this point my wife and two next door neighbors were looking at this thing with binoculars. As I zoomed in and focused on the light the object took shape and color it was oval looking and would kind of tear drop on the top and bottom. The light it was putting off was bright white and energetic looking and you could see small black circles around the entire object almost like heat vapors and then it would pulse a reddish glow. It looked like jet burst from behind the object. The bursts were not consistent and would last about 2 seconds, but the object didn’t appear to move. I now this sounds crazy but I got 45 minutes of this on video. I am trying to get it on my computer so I can send it in as well. The object would disappear into the fog layer that moved in. I cant explain any better. Did anyone's see this?

Group of 19 small, white bright objects traveling around larger white object seen in El Paso Texas skies.

The location and weather: Above BIGGS Airfield, El Paso, TX. It was a beautiful clear day, no clouds and around 78 Fahrenheit.

Description: One large white object, oval and moving very slowly towards the mountains. Around the large oval object were about 19 smaller, objects looming around the larger object. There was a very big difference in size between the larger object and the other smaller ones. The large one was very easy to see. The smaller ones were very small and spread out. With much difficulty we were able to count 19 of the smaller ones.

Their shape: The large one had the shape of a jellyfish oval on top and flatter on the bottom with shaded area on bottom. The small objects were bright white specks such as a star might look in the daytime. However, these were not stars. They were spread out around the white object and stayed around it for 5-10 minutes. After that, we were only able to see the bigger object and no longer saw the bright specks anywhere.

There was air traffic in the area, both civil and air force.

Our background: First observer = wife; educator in school district. Second observer=husband; real estate. Third observer = 7 year old son; 2nd grade student

I was at my aunts house and I was on her balcony just looking around at the stars and just the sky I was looking in 1 direction straight ahead of me when i turned my head out of my side vision i so something pop up I turned my head and saw a craft thing it was a plane I ignored it then I looked to the left and saw a HUGE! bright light come from the direction of the craft I turned to look and I saw the craft was the source of the light I looked closer at the craft and I saw it was no plane it was in the shape of a sort of teardrop i looked even closer and saw 1 red light and 2 regular colored lights next to it that when out of the right light another beam went out then it stared moving towards the house it flew over the house and went away i quickly ran to the master bedroom to look through window it was gone i was shocked how could a craft shoot lights like crazy then disappear before the blink of an eye it was not a plane it was not a blimp and it was not superman there was only 1 thing it could be...A UFO!

Ufo sighted by ExprssJet Pilots and confirmed by the crew of another ExpressJet.

On Wednesday March 14, 2007 at approximately 22:25 CDT, I was working a High altitude sector. I am an air traffic controller.

The crew of an Express Jet Embrair Jet asked if I showed any traffic at their 2 o’clock position and about 40 miles. I did not and told them so. I then asked for a description.

They reported the object to have reddish light with some white. At about the same time the crew of another Express Jet confirmed the sighting.

The first aircraft was about 50 miles east of Corpus Christi, TX, southbound at 36,000feet. The other aircraft was 60 miles in front of the first aircraft heading the same direction and at the same altitude.

I then got a strong primary radar return at the reported object position for about 12 to 20 seconds, which then disappeared.

The first aircraft then noticed the object descending and then moving off to the west at high speed.

Gray egg shaped object with many colored lights flying low in the sky, then either vanishing or flying away very quickly.

I am a graphic designer, age 30. The other witness is my girlfriend, a paralegal, age 23. We were driving to our 7:30 dinner reservation, which we were late for, and as I was going along my street I saw a bright star off to my left. I'm always looking out for ufos so I made some comment about this star to my girlfriend, and she replied to stop looking at it and look where I was driving.

At the next intersection I turned left, and now the object was in the sky in front of us (and slightly left of the road). The light had grown and now it was no longer a star, but many blinking lights. Its altitude in the sky was much lower than a plane, maybe between 500 and 1000 feet up. My first thought was "Damn that thing has lots of lights" but I actually wrote it off as a plane because my eyesight is poor and I couldn't see any detail. Then a few seconds later my girlfriend (whose eyesight is better than mine) said "What IS that thing?" I looked over at it again and I asked her to tell me what she was seeing. She could actually see the solid object and said it was grey and egg shaped, and covered with blinking lights. It was flying about as fast as a plane or a helicopter, but erratically. I could see the blinking lights, which were multicolored (there were at least a dozen lights to my reckoning), but my eyesight was not good enough to discern the shape.

By this time it had flown further to our left. I said "screw the reservation!" and I took the next left to follow it. The trees obscured our view temporarily but I drove in the direction that it was in the sky. As soon as we got to a clearer view, the object was nowhere to be seen. We were both very baffled, because it should've been visible in the sky.

Unusual aircraft flies in snake like formation breaking the sound barrier

I live out in the country on a small ranch. I went out in the backyard around 10:30 PM to take the dogs out, a normal routine prior to going to bed. I usually have a great view of the sky and love to star gaze.

Blinking lights on the NW horizon amongst the trees caught my attention. At first I thought it was bright stars in the distance. But I noticed they would disappear while I stood in one place and reappear in another. As I moved to find them they would appear and disappear.

I tired of this event and began looking straight up at the brilliant stars hoping for a shooting star when a series of flashing lights appeared in the western sky. At first glance it looked like a plane but as it got closer overhead I began to watch and follow its unusual movements and shape. The object was moving from west to east at a speed that was faster than an airplane, its shape was unrecognizable even though there was a full moon.

The object moved in an erratic nearly snakelike formation. Many lights could be seen flashing across its middle girth in a very random, flickering red and white pattern. I couldn’t judge its distance from earth nor its size but I believe it was larger than a plane.

Once the object disappeared in to the eastern horizon, I heard the tremendous trailing noise of a jet-liner back to the east where the object first appeared. I noticed a flash of dull white light, similar to a lightning flash, illuminating a cloud in the sky, as the rumbling of the aircraft tried to catch up to the object.

Could it have been traveling faster than light? I watched the object for 20-30 seconds and the noise lasted nearly as long.

Fast lights in a Zigzag pattern

First one, then two white lights in the sky, visible in mid-afternoon

At approximately 10:30 am on Thursday, march 8th, while walking alone in a field near Zilker park, I observed a very small white light standing motionless in the sky, almost directly above me and a bit to the north. I watched the light for approximately 20 minutes, during which time the object did not appear to move at all. Very suddenly there was a second white light that appeared to be hovering quite close to the first. I do not believe that this was an optical illusion, given that I closed my eyes several times to find the same set of lights in the sky when I reopened them. This second light appeared brighter than the first, and it was slowly moving within close proximity of the first light. Moments later it was gone all at once, only to return again a few minutes later. At this point I began to walk toward the nearest convenience store, and when I arrived there, I was able to point the lights out to a strange man who was getting into his car. Together watched the lights dance, and soon after they disappeared.

This sighting was by my step daughter and her step sister. This is the second sighting by my step daughter.

She and several of her family members saw one of the daylight perfect circles in a cloud like the one on the web from Nashville, Tenn. That one appeared over Dallas, Texas at about the same time and I was witness to it. I watched it for over ten minutes while driving down a heavily congested street called Northwest Highway and no amount of gesturing could make anyone whose eye I could catch look up. Nothing on the news of course.

Back to the Wilmer night sighting. I am not sure what time she told me it was, but the reason it caught her eye, was that it looked like a black hole in the sky. It blocked out all the stars in a huge circle. No lights, just a black hole. Since she was driving and couldn't watch it intently, she does not know how it disappeared.

In the field below it asks me to submit to a collect call. I don't want to do that but exchanging emails would be acceptable. I think you can research Popular Mechanics or Mechanics Illustrated back to the late fifties or early sixties and find information on an arc welder that defied gravity. It was for sell at the time.

An apparent satellite path , only larger, and orange, this object mimicked a satellite but slowed down at the horizon

An orange ball traversed the sky from Horizon to Horizon south to north. Itappeared to be mimic the path of a satellite, but was much larger, brighter and had an orange color. It appeared to slow when it approached the horizon. It was thought to be a satellite, but after viewing it I am not so sure.

Anyone else see it??

McAllen White Orb Sightings

I was jogging near the airport in south Mcallen around mid-day, when I noticed a bright white object in the sky (the sky was perfectly clear and blue that day). Anyway the one object became 4 and the moved in and out of a "V" formation (covering about 1/4 of a mile in their wanderings). Interestingly a white Cessna was moving directly at them at what looked like exactly the same altitude. Once the cessna was about a couple of hundred yards from them, they regrouped in a V formation, and the formation became a light red and then they all disappeared from view (almost as the Cessna was on top of them and within a few seconds of changing color). Estimated altitude of Cessna and objects was 1500 feet. All of this occurred within one mile directly East of the Mcallen Control Tower.

About ten minutes later I continued my jogging and noticed one object had reappeared now directly over the airport. This lasted five minutes or so, and there was no sightings after that.

I wonder if the McAllen Control Tower or the Cessna pilot saw anything. By the way I am pilot myself and could not identify the objects.

An object was spotted high in the sky shortly after darkness on Hwy 21. The object appeared to be a distant light. When viewed through the video camera, it "jutted" in a box-shaped pattern, occasionally shifting out of the pattern.

The object did not appear to have any destination.

BRIGHT LIGHT W/ GREEN RING AROUND IT. LOOKED AS IF IT WAS SITUATED IN THE MILKY WAY AND IT APPEARED TO BE HOVERING W/SLIGHT MOVEMENT

WHEN I CAME HOME FROM THE GROCERY STORE MY BOYFRIEND WAS OUT IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE WAITING FOR ME AT APPROX. 8:00 PM. HE CALLED ME OUTSIDE WITH HIM. I WENT OUT AND MY BOYFRIEND POINTED TO THE SKY. IN THE SKY WAS A VERY BRIGHT LIGHT. BRIGHTER THAN ANY STAR IN THE SKY. THE LIGHT HELD IN its PRESENCE A GREENISH RING AROUND IT AND IT LOOKED AS IF IT WAS SITUATED IN THE MILKY WAY, AS IF THERE WERE TINY LITTLE STARS ALL AROUND THE LIGHT COMBINED WITH THE GREENISH RING. THE LIGHT APPEARED TO BE HOVERING WITH THE SLIGHEST OF MOVEMENT. THERE WAS A LOT OF ACTIVITY WITH AIRPLANES IN THE AREA AND THE OBJECT WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT AN AIRPLANE.

WE WATCHED THE OBJECT FOR 10 MINUTES BEFORE WE WENT INSIDE. WE WENT BACK OUTSIDE AND THE OBJECT WAS GONE.

One large UFO and 4-5 objects surrounding the area hovering in the NE sky.

Went out side to view the sky. Looked to my NE and noticed one star kept looking and noticed 4-5 object around this star. As I looked closer (trying to gain focus in shock) I noticed they would fade out and come back but going in a random motion. The bigger one would stay in one stop but the other 5 would just move around it. As no shape would take place or path. Almost like they were refueling or hovering in that one area.

Walked away for about five mins thinking that I am seeing things. Still there. If a plane would go close by they would stop flashing lights and almost combine into one object into the bigger one. Strange, when the plane would pass by they would all separate and fade in and out again. The light was a white light with a tint of green here and there. The shape couldn’t say, I would say circle but it was too far away.

On March 1st 2007 at 9:30 p.m. 8 to 10 miles south of Halletsville Texas on Hwy 77 seen a Greenish fireball fall from the sky 50 to 75 yards west of the highway it disappeared behind the trees did not see impact or explosion.

I am curious as to what it was!

Elliptical craft sighted on serpentine path in Lubbock, Texas.

Sitting watching TV when out the window my mother and I both saw this unidentified aircraft. We ran outside to see the elliptical shape that had six light around its perimeter and three blinking red lights at the center. It seemed to be pulsating and I heard a slight buzzing sound. It was taking a serpentine path through the night sky about 150 feet above the ground.

At first, it went over our house and curved along several blocks. A few seconds later it was curving more slowly and disappeared behind a tree. We attempted to resight the craft while running down the sidewalk. While running to the seen i noticed several car lights come on in the vicinity.

As I was being dropped off at home, I noticed to the northeasterly direction two very bright circular shaped lights. What caught my attention was that they appeared to look like stars in the sky but they spacing between them was too close.

As I continued to peer in the same direction I turned my head to view neighboring stars in the sky but none of them looked that bright. The one of the left has a burning red color and the other on the right was a pearl white.

Take note that when I initially saw them they were both white and then within 7 seconds they faded off too fast into the night sky.

My wife, her parents and I witnessed a very strange object at approximately 20:10 on Saturday, February 18, 2007. The object had no discernable shape or size (but must have been somewhat large due to its apparent distance from our location). It was very bright white, or blue-white, or orange, or red-white in color; which constantly changed in no particular order or sequence, and continuously varied in intensity.

The light intensity of this object was at least an order of magnitude higher than that of any current aircraft landing or taxi lighting system I am familiar with, and the object was observed traveling away from our location, therefore, by comparison, landing and/or taxi lights would not be very apparent, if this object was a landing aircraft traveling away from us. In addition, the familiar blinking of aircraft position lights was not present at all.

We watched the object from an initial distance of approximately 4 miles and approximately 15000 feet AGL (which seemed to vary somewhat), as it traveled away from us from east to west, for about ¾ of an hour. The height AGL of the object was approximately constant (about 15000 feet); therefore, after ¾ of an hour, the object was about 16 miles away.

The most disturbing aspect of this object (and the character that caught and held my attention) was its ‘amorphous’ nature. We viewed this object for almost an hour, mostly through field glasses and a high powered camera lens, and were struck by the constant change of its shape, size, color and position.

The experience was disturbing for us, since we could not explain its behavior. However, if the flight path is extrapolated on a map, it does come close to Ft. Hood, TX.

Perhaps the object was a new military aircraft undergoing flight qualification testing?

Amber glow with two star-like points of light all moving in a triangular formation

At 8:47 pm on 2-7-07 while waiting for the UT shuttle, I witnessed an Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon for about two minutes.

I first spotted a very faint amber object about 150 feet in the night sky above Waller Creek running alongside San Jacinto St in front of the UT Art Building. At first I thought it was a balloon or parachute floating, but as I observed it more intently, it was more of a dim, amber/golden glow, roughly trapezoidal, but it was more amorphous and had no hard edges. I had dark shades running through it, as if something were inside it, or possibly surrounding the glow--it was hard to tell. I tracked it visually as it flew silently, north over Waller Creek at a steady, slow pace maintaining the same altitude.

I then noticed that below the amber object were two very dim points of light similar to stars that were moving with it. The points of light were at odd angles from the amber glow and their distance from each other formed an uneven triangle. All three lights moved together and stayed in the same triangular formation.

My eyes were transfixed as I tried to determine what it could have been. Being an artist with excellent observational skills, I flipped through every possible explanation in my head: It didn’t even remotely resemble a plane.

The moon and stars don’t fly along.

The objects were not solid like a balloon, parachute, weather balloon, or any other aircraft.

Also, the amorphous quality of the amber glow and the dimness of the two moving star-like objects just didn’t make sense to me, compared with regular airplanes I’ve seen hundreds of times before. Something was just not right about this thing.

I thought about running to keep up with it, but I was exhausted from having just run 4 miles at the track, and I think it was traveling too fast to follow on foot, though a car could have kept up with it easily.

As the objects moved farther away, my bus showed up and I had to leave. When I got on the bus and looked around at people, I had a heightened sense of awareness of my surroundings, particularly my visual and olfactory senses--lights were much more intense than usual and I was acutely aware of everyone’s movements and of the faintest smells around me.

For the rest of the night I couldn’t stop thinking about the UAP. I kept thinking about what normal object would match what I had seen earlier, but there were none. I know what I saw and it was anything but normal.

I’m very reluctant to mention this to anyone, but I thought it important to at least report what I witnessed.

solid red light aircraft

I just spotted a aircraft flying over Austin TX traveling NW which is a normal route for air traffic.

The lights on the air craft were not strobes, and according to the FAA every air craft must have a strobe.

The light configuration was red light (very bright) in the rear. and a very dim greenish white light in the front.

I tracked the craft with a 90mm telescope and could not see an outline of the craft or reflections of the lights on the crafts body.

There was an air distortion with an elongated oval shape with sharp points where the lights are from the profile view of the craft.

The craft transited the sky at what appeared to be average aircraft speed. It maintained speed and heading through out the entire time. The odd

We think this is a UFO that had something to do with this. I have called and tried to find out more but no one will tell me anything.

Coast Guard Medevacs 3, Including 11-year-old boy Coast Guard Medevacs 3, Including 11-year-old boy. The Coast Guard mevaced a family of three, including an 11-year-old boy, from the Intracoastal Waterway near High Island, Texas.

A watchstander a Coast Guard Sector Houston/Galveston received a call for help over the radio. The family was disoriented and complained that their bodies felt like they were slowing down. When asked, they could not remember their birthdays or weight.

Coast Guard Air Station Houston crews launched an HH-65C Dolphin helicopter to assist. They arrived at the boat and quickly hoisted the family into the helicopter. The family was then brought to Herman Memorial Hospital in Houston.

Two cylinder like objects

Mr. Davenport, I was simply playing with my Nikon 5.0 Mega pixel digital camera and caught two objects while I was inside my vehicle--taken through the front windshield of my vehicle while I was parked and facing east. These two objects are above the back of the red stop sign (in the picture I will send you). These objects are probably just balloons. Using Microsoft Photo Editor, images on my computer automatically come up at 25%--however, one cannot see these images at 25%. I then clicked enlargement up to 50% and saw two distinct objects above the back of the red stop sign. (I did not, nor could not see these objects at all when I took this picture yesterday).

Probably just balloons, but since this picture was taken at 4:53 pm, and it would be dark in one hour, why is the, "balloon," dark in the center? I played with the gamma correction, and noticed these, "balloons," were dark in the center and had a (white) structure at the top and bottom roughly in the form of a cylinder.

So if I am looking east, and the sun is setting behind me in the west, why are the balloons dark in the center? It was an overcast day, so maybe this explains it, but I don’t see how.

Maybe balloons simply look like this--I have never photographed balloons.

I will now attempt to send this picture. However, if it requires Microsoft Outlook, my computer is having major problems with this program, and I will not be able to send it this way. I can only send it through my yahoo address as an attachment.

Picture taken in West Texas shows something unusual against the clear blue sky.

While hiking in a remote area of West Texas, I took a picture of a hawk against a clear blue sky. While photographing I did not see or hear anything unusual, but after looking at my pictures at home later in the week, there was something unexpected in the photo. Several people have reviewed the photo and can not identify the "bonus" object in the picture.

Hazy light circling radically overhead at 3:00 a.m. in an ever-changing mostly elliptical course, above the clouds.

My friend and I went outside to smoke a cigarette around 11:00 PM 11/26 and witnessed a light circling around in the sky above my backyard. I also woke my mother up to see it, as well.

At first we thought it may be a spotlight (a new club opening up or something), but the center of the activity was in a strictly residential suburbian area and the light changed its course, moving erratically slow then fast and not in a perfect circle, sometimes a square or triangular course, and small then bigger ellipses, but always clockwise. We could see no beams coming from the ground either, and the light seemed to be radiating parallel to the ground from an invisible object. (It seems to beam out some at the right and left sides of the circumference, the course being mostly elliptical.) It is now after 4:00 am 11/27, and the light is still there circling.

Last I checked I saw other light trailing it. It was breaking in two at the middle of the course (bottom of ellipse) and then the smaller light followed it to the left and upward. Kind of like the Atari game "Breakout" where it is guided. Does that make sense? It moved slow then fast like that. And, the main light surged, too. Like I said, it seemed to radiate from a center point above the clouds.

I also saw the light skip and appear further along the circumference immediately several times! The light is not circular, but hazy (even in-between the clouds where it is clear sky) and shapeless. Not like any spotlight I’ve ever seen, and it’s in the middle of the night and has been going on for five hours. Also, it held it’s position when we went to the front of the house, seemed to be circling over us at the same place as in the backyard. So, it must have been pretty far away and high up over the clouds.

I hope this makes sense; I’ve tried to give as accurate of a description as possible. I tried to capture it on camera, but it was too dark to pick anything up (maybe I just don't know how to use the thing!)

Falling Bluish-White sphere, with yellowish-orange sparks emitting from the back. Then white flash explosion

Around 11:30pm Thursday night, I went outside to take out the trash and walk my dog (live in an apartment complex with a wooded area next to it).

Usually I look up at the night sky when im on my nightly dog walking trip, just in case something happens to fly by. Usually I might catch a shooting star, or an airplane but nothing out of the ordinary.

But this night, it seems I looked up at exactly the right time. When I looked up, a falling spherical object caught my eye. It was a whitish-blue and looked to have yellowish sparks as a kind of "tail." It just kinda appeared mid-air (well out of "thin air" I guess you could say), not very high in the sky.

I tried to follow it to see if it would make contact with the ground, but when it fell behind the tree line of the wooded area next to my apartments (beyond my line of vision, hindered by the trees) there was just a bright white flash, as if it had exploded. There was no sound or anything though.

Not sure what it was...could have been some kind of falling space junk or just a small meteorite.

Unfortunately I didn't have my digital camera at the time, or else I could have taken a picture.

I saw a dark object that at times had a triangular appearance. No noise was detected and there were no lights at all.

I was walking the dog about 5:30 PM Wed.., Jan 24th, 2007. The weather was very clear and breezy with some clouds. The sun was beginning to go down in the west.

I saw an object way off in the distance approaching from the north west. It was quite high in the sky and moving slower than a jet plane moves. There were no clouds obscuring my view of the object.

I watched to see if I could see any lights but there were no bright lights or blinking lights. I could see no wings. It was difficult to determine the shape but looked slightly triangular at one point. I thought I could determine some shifting of the shape but I couldn't really tell.

It curved around to the west towards the setting sun. It never varied in altitude, neither going up or down and the speed always remained the same. I wondered if possibly it was a weather balloon but I have seen those before and usually the balloons reflect white and this was dark brown.

I wondered about a large bird but it looked too big a bird and it wasn't a flock of birds but a solid object.

I watched this object for about ten to twelve minutes and then had to go inside because of the cold air. It was still in sight when I went in.

Unfortunately I did not have my camera and was the only person outside at the time.

From my vantage point it was high enough in the sky to be way above the two story buildings and trees. The size from where I was was about one eighth of an inch to a quarter of an inch.

We have a lot of air traffic in the area because of DFW airport, Lockheed, and what used to be Carswell AFB. It looked as if it was high over the base at one point.

I am familiar with all types of aircrafts and balloons and this looked nothing like anything I have ever seen.

I would really like to know if this was a weather balloon or if any other reports have come in.

A triangular craft with three bright white lights on the front and two red bright lights on the back in the night sky.

I saw it in the dark 9 o'clock sky, but since I'm in the city, the sky was illuminated just a bit so I could see it's outline.

Well, I was looking out the window while driving back from a store when I saw what I first took to be a search helicopter. Upon closer examination, I saw that it had not just one light, but three large lights, arranged in a triangular pattern. It was large, about one and a half inches in the sky, but it moved slowly, about the same speed as a plane at full altitude.

I stared at it and realized that it was triangular, and it flew, point-forward, across the sky. It had about 5 lights on it. Three whites ones situated in a triangular pattern near the front point, and two bright, red lights on each of the other points of the triangle, in this case, which was the back of the craft.

The object flew over the bonnet of my car, so I couldn't see it, and there are quite a few trees so it went out of view, but I got one last look of it flying into the horizon. And then it was gone.

it slowly came down out of the sky. it had bright green lights and never stopped spinning. It moved around a little bit, almost as if it were searching for something. Mostly moved in the same circular path, though. After about 15 minutes, it raised back up into the sky.

Circular light seen possible close by and then further away during morning.

Witness age 12 was sitting at breakfast table and observed a light through the window blinds. This was in a East direction. She had sat there many times before without seeing lights.

On this occasion, the light caught her attention. Light appeared as a Yellow White light that was stationary.

Witness moved head while sitting to get a better view through the window blinds. The blinds were about 1/3 to 1/2 open at the time. The witness said the object was above the one story building next door. It sat stationary for 15 seconds then it took off in northernly direction in a diagonal upward direction. It was gone within 1 sec and the observer stated the light left a visual trail during that departure. Possible visual after-effect. Witness claims no head movement during this departure sequence as best as she could remember.

The witness reported no change in the size or shape during the entire visual encounter. Object remained circular in shape and witness describes as a "light shinning at you" appearance. This description was further clarified by the witness as a bright center with rays of light all around it. Her impression was that this object was close and it was estimated to be about 300 feet away and about 25 ft above the ground and about 2 ft in diameter based on similar size objects like a fan on a trailer nearby at the same distance but only 8 ft off the ground. The witness then went up to the window to open the blinds further and then looked and saw nothing more for one minute.

The same color light was seen again toward the southeast but appeared smaller (about a bbsize at arms length) and assumed to be further away and still above the building. This light was stationary for two seconds and then just blinked out.

No other objects seen after this.

about 7:30 going to crosby to my girlfriend house on new 90 hwy seen about 10 to12 objects with all kind lights.

seen about 10 to 12 lights in a big circle on top of Crosby tx, as I got closer from new 90 hwy they started to break up and started going everywhere but slow, I could see lights under the crafts, blue, green, clear. I know i wasn't the only one to see them, they where out there for about one hour or more.

WE SAW THE OBJECT AS IT WAS RIGHT ABOVE THE ARIPORT THEN IT SEEMED AS IT WAS TRAVELING STRAIGHT TOWARD US. 01/07/07 abt. 6:30am. Honey Grove, Tx. Circle 2 min. A circle of light just above the horizon/ stationary then moved east.

My husband and I had just woken up, and I looked out the window. I saw a light and thought "I don't remember a security light there." because that is kind of what it looked like, without the pole. We live in the country, so any unusual light would be noticed quickly. It was stationary.

I asked my husband, "What is that?" He looked out, but didn't know either, but suggested that it might be a helicopter with bright lights.

Maybe it was, I don't know, but it didn't look like that to me.

And when it moved away the light was the same during the whole event. In other words, if it had been a light on a aircraft I would have thought you could see the lights direction change, this didn't at all.

I had reached over to put on my glasses to see it better when I looked back it continued to hover in the same spot, but then it began its move to the east. I was facing North, and thought for a moment 'wow, that star is really bright', but then that when it began to move, so it definitely wasn't a star.

It's probably nothing, but it did look odd.

Bright multi-colored appearance with erratic movements.

We have seen this before over the summer of 2006 but did not report this sighting.

The best way for us to describe this is that it first appears to be a very bright star and it does not move or change direction or shape at first. On closer inspection with binoculars it is seen to have 3 lights, (a red, blue and white) which blink on and off, but not like airplane lights. It makes no sound and acts as if it knows it is being observed, which is one of the creepiest aspects of this. Then it begins to move ever so slightly as if it is hovering and has no noise. It remains stationary and then begins to change shape, getting less bright but the colors remain. It will stay like this for about 30 minutes longer before disappearing quickly. I have never seen anything like it before.

We have a good view of this from our kitchen window. Every night for a week in the summer of 2006 we saw it and it would come out in the same location but at a later time, around 11:30 p.m. and stay until around 1:00 a.m. I almost called the authorities about it but I assumed they would think we were nuts. My husband, the skeptic, was even intrigued by it and stood out in the back yard and watched it for 1/2 hour. Even he could not figure it out. My son and I were the ones who watched it tonight however,(1/5/07). It is always located in the southwest corner of the field behind us, eventually moving and disappearing suddenly to the northwest.

I-10 & Cambell Road, Houston TX UFO Sighting

I was on Interstate 10 near Cambell Road at about 6:30 in the evening after work in heavy traffic. From the North-West, I noticed a bright white light in the distance. I thought it odd, because the light was much brighter than one would expect for an airplane. I kept watching the light approaching while slowly moving through traffic.

It seemed to be moving slowly and on a level path to go directly over the Interstate. As it approached I noticed it was more than one light. It appeared to be 5-6 lights in a row and the were pulsing in a left to right pattern.

At this time I looked around to see if anyone else was observing and several drivers around me were also looking in that direction and pointing, to show their passengers the lights. By now it was getting fairly close to where I was located and I could make out more definition of the lights.

The lights appeared to be circulating around whatever object was. I could not definitely make out a shape, due to the highway lights and the orientation of the object to my vehicle. The lights were not only white, but seemed to posess an iridescent color shifting quality, with different hues of red, blue and possibly yellow.

As the craft passed over, and behind my car, I rolled down the window to see if I could identify what it was. Unfortunately, the angle of the crafts travel took it at an awkward angle that I could not see, due to the fact that I was still trying to drive and watch traffic.

I did not notice any sound, though there may have been. With many cars around me traffic possibly would have drown out any noise the craft was making.

I am not sure what I saw, but it was unlike anything I had seen in the past. I am interested in finding out if anyone esle present on the interstate that evening will report it here.

sighting info I along with two Naval Air Station buddies were manning our posts this evening. It was a clear night and almost every star could be seen in the sky. We were enjoying some chit chatting when we heard the distant rumblings of vehicles that were approaching the S.W. gate. We immediately manned our positions just in case. It was strange to have anything come down this road especially at 100 in the morning. As the noise approached a deafening roar, we saw the details of a Caravan coming around the road ahead of us. We just looked at each other because there was no guest roster in our hands detailing any official visitation. the Caravan stopped just short of the gate and to military officers approached us from the leading Jeep. I immediately rang the relay station and the control center. After talking for a brief 10 seconds with the control officer in the control center, another voice took hold of the mic. Identifying himself as a Naval Commander which I wrote down but cannot remember, he informed me to open the gates and to ignore the visit. I then received a call from the relay station where my commander informed me of the same. I will not list his name here for possible repercussions. The two men that approached us wore cams with no insignias. Their M16's were not muffed so we knew they had live rounds. They took the Roster I had filled in with the number of trucks, jeeps, motorcycles and Commander Instructions. I remember the number of vehicles...12 in all. The convoy consisted of two large 18 wheeled trucks, 4 Large Flatbeds with something tarped on them, 2 Jeeps, a Motorcycle and 3 Troop Transport Trucks. They looked like army issued but painted black except for the tarps. We are trained to hold some attention to detail. No Identification of any kind were given verbally or on the vehicles. We were scared at this point. Apparently, we were not supposed to know about this convoy. There are at least 4 Large hangers where we house some of the military aircraft that land. They commandeered two of these hangers as we saw them drive towards them and release the troops that were in the transport trucks. I must have counted at least 45 to 55 men taking up various points around the hanger.

As we looked through our binoculars, it was clear to me that what they were unloading was nothing I had ever seen before. My buddies just stood there with there jaws hanging open. It was an egg split down the middle. Both were caged in what looked to me a metal scaffolding. Each split of the egg shaped object was on each flatbed. If you put them together...it would look just like an egg. There were no doorways, no landing gear, no lights...no nothing! Just a smooth half egg shaped looking thing. One very strange thing besides it shape was that it had a mirror reflection that made it look like it was almost transparent until you realized it was mirroring what was around it. Med in lab coats and clean suits began to unload many crates from the 18 wheelers. I saw no other personnel besides what looked to be lab coated technicians, and the clean suited men. All three of us were called at home later that evening by our commander who informed us that we were relieved of duty beginning the next day and that anything we saw would be denied by him and any other military personnel. I was really ticked off.. this was my livelihood yanked from me. I called my buddies to confirm that they received the same message. I wrote various letters to the Naval Air Station and my commander because I thought I knew him personally...hell he's been to my house! I keep getting the run-around and now the tell me that there is no commander with that name at the facility. I have made it my goal to continue this research until I get to the bottom of it. You don't know my name now, but you will hear it soon. I have managed to acquire many documents concerning this convoy that never happened and plan on going public with it in the near future. I just want everyone to know my name when I do to keep them from doing anything to me or my family. There exists a video of the events mentioned due to the fact that all exits and entrances to the bases are monitored.

MYSTERIOUS CRASH PROBED IN NORTHERN TEXAS

On Saturday, July 11, 1998, at 11:20 p.m., Texas ufologist Duff B. and his wife "were driving into the Fort Worth, Tex. area. We were about eight to ten miles west of Azle (population 8,868) and saw a bright falling object. My wife noted a blue and green 'light' below the object as it was falling. I watched it and was concentrating wholly on the large 'fireball' effect surrounding the object."

Since this "was nothing like we had ever seen before," Duff and his wife drove into Azle, hoping for a better look. They soon found "the road blocked at an underpass" and a large number of fire engines and emergency vehicles. Rolling down the window, Duff asked an officer what was going on.

"Is this fire related to the flash in the sky a
while ago?" he asked.

"No," the officer said bluntly.

"Is this a wreck?" Duff asked.

After "pausing a few seconds, 'Yes,' he said."

"We went down the service road and tried to see across the median to see what all the commotion was about," Duff reported, "I saw a large number of fire trucks, care ambulances and a wrecker. However, what I didn't see was any damaged vehicle. In fact,
there was nothing on the road but emergency personnel and vehicles."

The investigation is continuing. Azle is on Texas Highway 199 about 10 miles (16 kilometers) northwest of Fort Worth. (Many thanks to Steve Wilson Sr. for this news story.)
